Plate 26: swamp clover (lotus uligonosus) and regular clover (lotus corniculatus).
Plate 31: incarnaat clover white clover (trofolium repens L).
Plate 32: comfrey (symphytum officinale L).
Plate 37: black mustard (brassica nigra Koch).
Plate 39: dederseed (camelina microcarpa andrz.).
Jan Ritzema Bos (Groningen, 27 July 1850 – Wageningen, 7 April 1928) was a Dutch botanist and zoologist who is regarded as the founder of the Plant Protect Service in the Netherlands. He was the brother of Hemmo Bos (professor in Wageningen) and Pieter Roelf Bos (of the Bosatlas).
The lithographs in this famous botanical work with the Art Nouveau-style plates are by L. Klaver and Theo Nieuwenhuis.
