Pair of Chinese porcelain. tea cups with saucers, mid 18th century - Qianlong (1736 - 1795). This type is named in Europe : Batavia, Cafe au Lait or Capuchin.
Brown glaze with a very fine quality ‘famille rose’ style enamel decoration with flowers and peaches. Decorated with blue and green enamel, iron red and gold .
Very good condition - no scratches in the brown glaze ot the saucers, no hairlines, no wear of enamels or gold decoration, except small chip in brown glaze at footrim of one cup ( picture 9).
Cups : diameter 7,5 cm , height 4 cm
Saucers: diameter 12 cm, height 2,1 cm
