The lot includes 3 volumes of illustrations and comics by Hugo Pratt, dedicated to Corto Maltese and to his other characters.
1. "50 anni di viaggi nel mito" - 22 x 37 cm approx. - like new, 240 pages in black and white and in colour, published by Lizard.
2017 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the world’s greatest comic book antihero and Bologna decided to pay tribute to this character with a very important exhibition. From 3 November 2016 to 19 March 2017, Palazzo Pepoli hosted a huge collection of works by Pratt, including the legendary 164 original plates of “Una ballata del mare salato”, the very first story of Corto Maltese dating back to 1967, which anticipated and embodied the rebellious and nonconformist spirit of the ‘68 generation. The catalogue of the exhibition collected the most interesting and emblematic material of Pratt’s production. A must-have for the many readers of Corto.
