Early 20th century - Vintage - used with visible signs of wear

Provenance:
Collection of the Museum of African Art of Saint-Cyprien, near Perpignan.
Sale carried out by the Million Auction House in Drouot-Paris, lot 262 of the 22/05/2019.

Dance “Pwo” Mask presenting a face with an interiorised expression, highlighted by the semi-closed eyes. The open mouth shows the teeth and the hairdo is arranged by three lobes, carved with a certain balance.
Hard wood, ancient brown patina, internal traces of wear. Traces of internal wear.

A certificate of authenticity, from the appraising organisation, “Origine Expert” in Paris, will be delivered with the mask.

Objects are sent with insurance, a professional invoice and track & trace.

Parcels are sent from Monday to Saturday, via an express parcel service (Colissimo Suivi) of the French Post, with track & trace. The shipment takes 2 and 5 days throughout Europe.
