Dinky Toys Aveling Barford Diesel Roller Meccano Limited No.279. Made in the UK. Orange body with yellow cab and black roof. Paintwork is all clean and unscratched. The drivers perspex sliding windows are there and work though one has a slight scratch. The near side yellow engine cover is missing but the offside is present and works. This doesn't have a tow hook at the back. I suspect it has broken off though I think the model looks all the better for it. Driver and steering wheel still in position just in case the photo doesn't make it clear. Front roller can be set so it "steers".
