Horus is an Egyptian Falcon God, who was worshipped since the beginning of ancient Egyptian civilization until the introduction of Christianity.

Horus was a dynasty god attributed to the kings of the 0e until the 3rd dynasty. By connecting the role of Horus as Heaven (Sky) God to the dynasty god, he became the founder of the Egyptian kingship. Thus, Pharaoh became an incarnation of Horus.
