Ancient Roman Lead Ring with a Round Bezel and a Point at its Center.
Because of its softness the Lead was rarely used for making rings which makes them rare and unusual. The Bezel probably has an astrological meaning with its round shape and the point exactly in the center.
Slightly Bent and a few Cracks, Otherwise Good Condition.
Date:1st.- 3rd. Century AD.
Purchased by the current owner in 2010 in Austria, Wien from Collector fair.
Previous owners history: Old Austrian Private Collection.
