Lod (d) honorary box - .833 silver - J. Kooiman - Schoonhoven - 1863
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes - 25 g

The antique silver scent box is of the cartouche-shaped type with a straight back and a hinged lid. The scent box has a profile edge along the bottom edge and a ribbed pattern on the edge of the lid. Has chased relief decorations around the box with scenes for the wedding period and the lid bears a marriage proposal between C-volutes.

Silver hallmarks:
walking lion (2nd grade content silver, 833/1000) - Minerva head M Schoonhoven - year letter d 1863 - master stamp silversmith JK1 (J. Kooiman. Schoonhoven. 1860-1893).

Dimensions:
long 4 cm - wide 3.5 cm - tall 4 cm and a weight of 25 grams.

Condition:
in good condition with normal signs of wear / old age - see photos (are part of the description and condition).
