Italian iron corkscrew from the early 20th century, a Sighicelli patent.

Iron bow handle, "S" brand (Sighicelli) in the centre, closed bell. It is decorated with crossed carvings on the head, with two lateral slits from which the internal spacer, fixed on the central body, can be seen.

Inside the bell base there still is the original leather bottle protection.
Beautiful iron worm with Archimedean tip. The classic Sighicelli worm, famous for its workmanship and reliability, was the manufacturer's pride and joy and determined in those years, the success and widespread use of this excellent corkscrew.

A classic of the great Italian tradition, much sought after by collectors, in very good condition. A truly beautiful item.
