Kirby Beard & Co. Paris - Bottle opener model "Ducky" - Bronze patinated

Description
Kirby Beard & Co. Paris - Bottle opener model "Ducky" - Bronze patinated
France - 1920 - 1940

Original, exceptionally quaint bottle opener from the 20s/40s.
The opener has the shape of a duck head and has therefore been given the model name "Ducky".

The maker, the company Kirby Beard & Co. was founded in Glouchester in 1743 where needles, pins, hairpins and hooks were mainly manufactured.
More than a century later, the goods were also sold in Paris.

Later on, after the World exhibition of 1855 in Paris and international exhibitions in Antwerp and Amsterdam, also more luxurious products were created, of which this opener is an example.

The opener has the company name and model name at the bottom of the inside. The original rubber and the magnet are still present. The original colour shades are also visible.
