Beautiful patinated bronze statue of King Wenceslas (U) S/Vaclav on marble pedestal with caption on copper plate in Czech (see photo).
It's probably about Wenceslas I, which was declared sacred. In all cases, the eagle stands in its coat of arms.
Translation:
Winner of the International Contest of the group of gymnasts during the days of the Holy Vaclav of the eagle-dom (?) in Prague 1929,
donated by Grandmaster in the rank of the Cross Knights with the Red Star Mr. Josef Vlasák.
Dimensions sculpture: 32 x 7 x 11 cm Marble base: 4 x 12 x 12 cm.
In the right hand there is a small hole of about 2 to 3 mm, in which probably originally a bishop's staff or cross.
