This gorgeous piece is quintessentially Art Nouveau Originally designed as a cigar case, it would most likely be more appropriate for use as a wallet today The delicate whiplash lines and heart shaped cartouche are beautifully made from sterling silver and are hallmarked for 1903.

The aligator leather has an absolutely magnificent patina, is extremely smooth and has no significant signs of wear - only commensurate with age as shown in the photos

Internally, the kid leather is also in fantastic condition with no wear whatsoever the clasp is strong and in perfect working order.

A really striking item that would be a marvelous addition to any collection.
