Spelter statuette representing Joan of Arc sitting.
Attributed to the artist Rauner, the model seems to have been inspired by the statue of Henri Chapu.

The photos represent very well the overall condition of the statuette, there are some wear-related lack of browning on the face, visible in the photos

RAUNER
Born in Paris in 1874.
RAUNER, member of the French artists since 1900; he was present at the Salon; honourable mention in 1904.
Artwork: Monument to the Dead of Rocroi (1923), A. Hollard, founder in Paris.
