Elegantly curved and well foged japanese wakizashi sword in fine sharp traditional polish and condition.
Fine strong gunome-midare hamon and very nice mokume-itame hada, good kissaki with elegant boshi.

The tang is unaltered with deep age patination and original hole.

It is signed:


He worked 1550-1570's in Bungo Takada school, a good smith.

The blade is housed in good shirasaya and polished copper habaki.
It comes with copy of Japanese Registration card.
