Vintage Marko stackable chairs, design: Jac Vogels
The 'Marko' chair was designed in the sixties in the Netherlands by Jac Vogels. It is a stackable plastic chair that has been used in schools and offices since the sixties.
Robin Day, a British designer, created the polyprop chair in 1963.
It immediately became popular in schools due to the fact that it was lightweight, cheap and practical to store.
The seats have a green or brown plastic seat with metal tubular frame in original cream colour. There are 8 green and 13 brown chairs
Signed under the chair: 'Design Jac Vogels Marko Holland' and the production date.
The chairs are in a used vintage condition with signs of wear.
Size: 47 cm seat height, 81.5 cm total height, 52 cm wide and 40 cm deep
Year 79 for the green and 81 for the brown.
Pick up in Sint-Truiden Belgium.
