This beautiful wine presents a powerful full bodied with a high alcohol percentage.
Aromas that go from ripe fruit (plum and generally fruit preserves) to the spicy (pepper and vanilla) until the flowery (roses).
The vines are at least 25 years old. Annual rise of 30 HL.
The harvest starts in October, manually. The grapes are dried on wooden boxes for 130 days with a loss of 50% on the original weight.
The low temperature fermentation and maceration takes 20 days. Then the wine is ripened for 36 months in oak barrels, finally 12 to 14 months ripening on bottle.
2009 was one of the best vintage year!
