Battle scene by Francesco Graziani (attr. to) (XVII/XVIII century), alias " Ciccio Graziani",.
Oil on canvas.
h 34 x 52 cm; 44 x 62 cm, with modern frame.
On the back of the work, closed with a wooden panel, there is a copy of the expertise, as well as descriptive labels.
The work is still in excellent condition; craquelure consistent with the dating.
With attributive expert’s report, with photo, signed by prof. Giancarlo Sestieri, dated 26 September 2019.
Antique work, depicting a battle scene, by the Neapolitan painter Francesco Graziani, father of Pietro Graziani.
As described by prof. Sestieri, (see expert’s report) "... this concise battle ... with the haggard tree on the left and 2 soldiers and a horse on the ground."


....... it is a testimony, not of a late time, by Francesco Graziani, also known as "Ciccio Graziani".

Between the flag-bearer and the tree, there is a city or fortification on top left.
