MUONIONALUSTA Meteorite (Sweden, 1906). Stainless Steel Pendant - 5 g

MUONIONALUSTA Meteorite (Sweden, 1906). Stainless Steel Pendant - 5 g

A million years ago, a planetoid of metallic composition and large size crashed into the north of Scandinavia, in present-day Sweden. This meteorite is known by the name of Muonionalusta, and it is until today the oldest meteorite from which there is evidence on Earth. It was discovered for the first time in 1906, and since then it has been possible to recover some specimens, usually of small size.

In this lot we offer a circular shaped meteorite sheet, set in steel. You can see the Widmanstätten patterns of this meteorite classified as ‘fine octahedrite’. You will receive a pendant of the same characteristics as the photographs (sample pendant), although each meteorite is unique and unrepeatable. The steel and resin that cover the meteorite guarantee non-oxidation for life. Maximum quality.

We are members of IMCA (International Meteorites Collectors Association), with number #7412. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our specimens. Buy with guarantees.
