A special typewriter from the period 1910-1915, by "Algemeine Elektricitaets Geselschaft" from Germany. This typewriter has been very well maintained and is nearly new. Everything on this typewriter works. The ribbon is present yet dried out.
This typewriter was invented in 1903 by Friedrich von Hefner-Alteneck and was produced from 1904 up to 1934.
Instead of type arms, this typewriter is equipped with a type cylinder which was interchangeable.
This type cylinder came with a tableau (point display) on which the various characters were depicted.
The typewriter is complete with the original leather case. The key of the case is present.
The dimensions of the case are 33 x 33 x 21 cm.
The weight is about 7 kg.
