Obv: D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG, helmeted, cuirassed bust of Theodosius II three-quarters right, holding transverse spear behind head and shield with horseman device on shoulder.
Rev: IMP XXXXII COS XVII P P, Constantinopolis seated left, holding cross on globe in right hand and sceptre in left; star in left field, COMOB in exergue.

Original luster remaining in some areas, extremely fine condition.
