Ernesto Pirovano was an Italian artist. He was born in 1901 and he died in 1972.
He studied at the Brera Academy with Ambrogio Alciati. He soon showed his vocation for naturalistic painting with landscape, without neglecting compositions, portraits and human figures.
He was the son of the sculptor Ambrogio Pirovano.
He can be called an “authentic Ambrosian”, built rock-like as one of the Laurentian columns.
