Five Song Dynasty Qingbai Bowls. The thinly potted white paste bowl shows a wave decor, which was incised and combed, techniques used for the decor of Qingbai and Yaozhou Ware of this period. A very intriguing remnant of the Northern Song pottery art. Probably from the Hutian Kilns in Jingdezhen, most likely 11th Century.
This is kitchenware, the glazing and form are not perfect. There are imperfections and firing flaws, however the bowls have no chips missing and are in good condition.
