Nice old colored card.

Large old coloured world map, with California as an island. After a world map by Nicolaas Visscher from ca. 1650.

Condition: good to very good, very nicely coloured, small old restored tears.
Narrow margins, 2-4 mm, published in a bible of Jacob and Hendrik Keur (Amsterdam). 1700.

In the corners of the map there are carvings that indicate the 4 continents. California is depicted as an island and Australia is not yet fully mapped.

The floor plan is pastel coloured.
The print representations have more vivid colours.

Folded as issued, 3x
