75 Microdigital - RISC (Home) Computer - Without original box

Description
75 Microdigital - RISC (Home) Computer - Without original box
Condition: Very good

Unique RISC OS Computer. The Omega1 was one of the most sophisticated system they developed, and the most expandable too. Fully equipped: keyboard, 3-button mouse, a floppy discdrive, CD drive, CD/DVD drive and a harddisc in a rack + original supplies.
When Phoebe RISC II, the successor of the renowned RISC PC 710, was cancelled, Microdigital was one of the companies wich would fill the gap. They ultimately succeeded in delivering the pre-sold computers, but development did not result in the promised expansions and the company vanished in 2005. This type has 10/100 MB internet and a soundcard (all in good working order). The latest firmware was installed (but allthough it's bearly noticeble some problems were not solved, for instance, when sound is activated, it will ultimately bring the system to an halt. Inactivating solves this problem). It's in full working order and it could have a 1 Ghz intel pentium card to run Windows 2000, but this is still not available on this type.
