Early 20th century - Vintage - used with visible signs of wear

Pair of large brooches of embossed silver and enamel

Origin: Tiznit - Southern Morocco (Berber people)

These brooches are 800 degree minimum silver
(touchstone tested)
Finely embossed, enamelled and decorated with coloured glass.

Dimensions (each):
Width: 11.2 cm
Height: 18.5 cm with buckle and pin

Total weight: 131.678 g

The brooches are an essential part of feminine ornamentation. The are worn in pairs as coat closures.

pretty good condition (missing enamel on the cabochons and heavy use at the extremities of the rings.)
