Oval-shaped box with lid, resting on four curly feet joined to the central body by mean of a stylised palmette decoration.
Both container and lid feature a ribbed decoration.
It bears the hallmark of the famous Venetian manufacturer Passoni, Goldsmith in Venice since the early 20th century. The box can be dated back to the 1920s/1930s.
This box has two small scratches, highlighted with two circles in the last two images.
Hallmarks: Silversmith Passoni (60VE), not clearly legible, silver title (800), Passoni silverware company logo and name written in full on the base.
