A large and finely painted Qajar baluster vase, standing 44m tall and weighing 2739g, decorated with figural scenes in cartouches among profuse and detailed foliage. The caucasian figures on the inherently Chinese vase shape attest to the cross-pollination of cultures that was taking place along the silk roads at the time.
Condition: Rim partially broken and glued. Firing cracks to the centre, see pictures for an impression.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
