This wall light, designed by Tobia Scarpa, is made of a high-quality bent and painted white steel sheet.
The steel gives the impression of being bent around the light sources, which makes the lamp emit a warm glow.
The lamp provides both direct and indirect light.
Architect and designer Tobia Scarpa worked together with his wife Afra during a substantial part of his career. Their works have been added to the collections of many museums in the US and Europe, including the MoMa and the Louvre.
Tobia and Afra Scarpa were actively involved in the founding of Flos in 1962, for which the couple designed the company's first collection in collaboration with the Castiglioni brothers.
Depth/length: 9.7 cm
The fixture for wall mounting is made of aluminium and marked the brand Flos.
Light source: 2 x E27 max. 60 W, not included.
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition and will be shipped well-packaged.
