Tilted wooden Ship bucket - Iron (wrought), Wood - Early 19th century

Sturdy and heavy shelled oak ship bucket, also called a puts. Judged by the forging it is a very early specimen from the beginning of the 19th century or even earlier. Specimen has once probably been used on a fishing vessel or something similar.
Bucket has three forged iron bands and a handle which is attached to the wood in a beautiful way with ironwork. The wood has been treated against woodworm. See the photos for the condition.

Height including handle 40 cm.
Height bucket: 26 cm.
Diameter top 30 cm.
Diameter bottom 30 cm.
Weight 4.3 kg.

The bucket will be carefully packaged and sent by registered mail.
