A gorgeous romantic French portrait, done with enamel and described in French as “Emaux”.

Made after the original painting by Vigée Lebrun.

Marie Louise Élisabeth Vigée-Le Brun, also called Vigée-Lebrun, born Vigée, (Paris, 16 April 1755 - Louveciennes, 30 March 1842) was a French artist.
She is best known for her portraits of European nobility.

This has a lovely oval gilded frame.

On the reverse a label of authenticity has been affixed:
“HELCA, martelé a la main.”

With beautiful, detailed finishes. True craftsmanship, artisanal!
A lovely and beautifully romantic scene of the children of nobility, with a bird's nest.


The portrait measures: Length: 23 cm and Width: 17 cm.
In excellent condition.

Has a beautifully gilded wooden frame.
Measurements are: 30 cm x 24 cm.
Thickness: 2.5 cm.
