George Foreman is an American boxer born on 10th January 1949 in Marshall, Texas.
He boxed in the heavyweight category and he was Olympic champion in 1968 and professional WBA and WBC world champion from 1973 to 1974, before he lost his title against Muhammad Ali in a legendary battle in Kinshasa in Zaire, and then IBF and WBA from 1994 to 1995.
Olympic gold medallist, double world champion, with 81 fights, 76 wins (68 KO) and 5 defeats (1 KO). He is one of the best punchers in the history of the sport and is part of the exclusive club of champions who have achieved more than 50 KO. Foreman is especially famous for his singular career, his surprising record of oldest champion and his successful comeback.
