1. Jan Wolkers - Original pencil drawing 28 × 29.5 cm - signed and dated - on two sheets of drawing paper 20 × 29.5 cm, partly overlaid - 2 light discolourations, otherwise fine
The four corners of the drawing are stuck with small self-adhesive photo splits on the back of a reproduction of “The Potato Eaters” of Van Gogh; on the back are also two strips of adhesive tape to attach the bottom sheet to the surface. This has led to discolouration (see picture). There is also slight discolouration at the top and bottom edges. The black background in the pictures is not part of this lot.
Still a beautiful drawing, an original Wolkers, who needed more than one sheet of paper!

The drawing was used as an illustration in his book “22 sprookjes, verhalen en fabels”, at the story “De reigerreetdichtmakers”.
This book is included.
