Marine hand compass in original box - wood, glass - First half 20th century

Description
Marine hand compass in original box - wood, glass - First half 20th century
England

An old marine compass made for the Danish company S.P. Radio from Aalborg. This company made among other things the famous Sailor radios for the navy and shipping.
I suspect that the box and compass are very old because the company merged into SP Radio A/S in 1948. So in any case before 1948.
The compass is a hand compass that I believe has the Sestrel feature on the rose. The connoisseur will undoubtedly know (see also the pictures).
The compass still works very well and looks like new with a magnifying glass and lamp (see photos). I suspect the compass has never been used.
Serial number 15685 is on the edge of the compass.
The wooden box still looks good. With leather strap and with separate closures so that the brackets are not easy to open as is the case with many.
There are also a lot of cards in the box. However, I do not know what this these were used for.
I have added many photos, so you will know what you are buying.

The compass with holder will be very well packaged, shipped insured and by registered mail with track and trace code.
