Caryatid Stool - Chokwe - Angola

African stool called Lupona, typical of the objects of prestige created by this people of central Africa, is composed of a standing feminine figure supporting the seat, like caryatids. The arms raised and bent in a right angle corner, the circular seat is supported by the fingers. Obvious ancient patina.
There is a little missing piece on the mouth.
