Baccarat - series of 8 cups liqueur glasses gilded with fine gold - Art Nouveau - Crystal

Description
Baccarat - series of 8 cups liqueur glasses gilded with fine gold - Art Nouveau - Crystal
France - Late 19th century

Set of 8 Baccarat crystal liquor cups, late 19th century period.

A neat model in the shape of the Cannelures model, made of crystal engraved with motifs of foliage, ferns, clovers and scrolls. This decor is listed in the 1916 catalogue under the engraving reference 4360. It is also present for small form parts in various sections in the 1907 catalogue (e.g. under the heading of jam sets, under reference S.649).

Our set is a luxurious version of the model, with a fine gold-enhanced engraving and a gold line on the edge of the glasses, tray and carafe neck.

The carafe is not signed Baccarat (produced prior to 1936, date on which the crystal factory started to affix an acid-etched stamp on its productions).

The set is in excellent condition; carafe matching with its original stopper, very fresh gilding.

Note: We also sell the matching liquor carafes to be used as a set.

Height 4.6 cm
