Ancient Egyptian Terracotta Shabti LARGE - 19 cm
Egypt, New Kingdom, late 19th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1200 - 1070 B.C.

This is an interesting terracotta shabti of a rare form. It is with 19 cm a large specimen for a shabti. It is difficult to see, but it is most probably one of the Aschat-neb shabtis. See Schlögl/Brobeck, „Ägyptische Totenfiguren aus öffentlichen und privaten Sammlungen der Schweiz“, 1990, no. 41 on page 100 (see last picture).
