with their mystical powers to protect temples, imperial palaces, government offices, and homes of wealthy or high-ranking members of society
They are mostly found in pairs, a man and a woman, with their mouths open and a devilish look on their face to ward off evil spirits. which symbolizes the food and protection of the building's residents.
It has a beautiful patina due to its age.
