Description
French Antique Silver Mustard Pot ca1809 - Silver - France - Early 19th century
Excellent condition - barely used with minimal signs of aging & wear - 129.5 g

A beautiful antique French silver mustard pot (no liner).

The pot has an ornate handle and pineapple finial with open looped silver body.

The pot is stamped with the French coq 1st title stamp of which indicates silver fineness 950/1000 and dating from 1809. It is also stamped with the head of the Indre Chateauroux.

Overall the silver remains in excellent condition with just a small interior clean required. A very slight clean is required to the lid. I have mentioned this for accuracy.

Measurements approximately 12cm high including the finial and 9cm high without the finial. Rim diameter 6.5cm. Base diameter 5.25cm.
