A splendid landscape of the Piedmontese countryside, Vercelli worked as a creator of frescoes in Brazil around 1889, in 1890 he was in Paris, where he experienced impressionist painting and in particular Cezanne, from whose strokes and gesture the Turin painters met later, such as Cavslka and Vittorio Cavalleri, did not distract him.
