Beautiful Bronze Viking battle axe - amulet (a miniature of the "Danish axe", also known as bearded axe.) Decorated with the point-circle decoration. These amulets were worn by the men around the neck with a leather strap, especially when they went to battle. It was by excellence the symbol for masculinity, strength and fighting spirit.
Dating: 9th-10th century.
Dimensions: width 30 mm, height 50 mm and weight 11.59 grams.
Condition: almost perfect, with the usual signs of wear.
