The engraver of the second medal, Angelo Restelli, is closely linked to the history of Piedmont and of Turin in particular. He is also remembered for the 'Opening of the Moncenisio Tunnel' medal and for 'Inauguration of the Turin to Rivoli Railway', and a great number of his works for important events in Piedmont in the second half of the 19th century.
