In-8vo, approx 16 x 11 cm, pp. [16], 268, [44], soft parchment binding, publisher’s brand with griffon on the title page and ladt sheet, woodcut initials.
In fair condition, title page and last page with handwritten notes, some stains and traces of red colouring, rare stains on a few internal pages, otherwise intact and well preserved (see photos).
In addition to the two monographs, it contains a life of Sallust
, the oration of Sallust
against Cicero and Cicero against Sallust
, the four Catilinarians by Cicero himself, the "declamatio" by Porcio latrone against Catilina, Fragments from the Historiae by Sallust
, annotations by Filippo Melantone and two Indices.
