Very uncommon fossil fish - Fine - Well preserved and outstreched - - Rhabdolepis - 8.1×7.7×0.6 cm
PERMIAN (251.9–298.9 million years) - Germany

Name : Rhabdolepis
Age : lower Permian
Location : Niederkirchen, Germany

The fish is well centered onto a 11.9 x 8.7 cm slab. Bones and scales are very nicely visible such as the very ventral fin , wich is caracteristic of the species . The slab has been glued one time .
