Red wine - Italy

Castello di Ama takes its name from the hamlet of the same name located in the hills north of Siena. The winery has a long history dating back to the 16th century, in the 18th century Grand Duke Leopold von Habsburg praised the quality of agricultural products and the estate as one of the most beautiful in Chianti in a government report.
The winery Castello di Ama was founded in the 1960s. One group, consisting of several families, had fallen in love with the magical place and wanted to join past glorious times with a wine of world renown.

For 30 years, the winery is controlled by Lorenza Sebasti and Marco Pallanti.
The Roman-born Lorenza is the second generation from one of the founding families.
