Dapalis macrurus is a freshwater bass that lived in the south of France about 35 million years ago. The discovery site has been closed for many years, which is why fish from this discovery site are offered very rarely.
There are two fish on the plate.

The plate is stabilised on the back with a glass fibre matte and epoxy resin.
No colours or other distorting materials have been used during preparation.
Back stabilised with a synthetic resin coating.
