An excellent pair of gilt bronze sculptures of cranes standing on turtles, depicting an ancient Chinese legend in which, after a major flood, the crane and the turtle help each other to find dry land. Finely cast and chiseled, with gilding largely still intact.

Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
