A really well presented Metacanthus barrandei trilobite, discovered in Alnif, Morocco.
The trilobite dates from the Devonian Period, 395 to 345 million years old.
Typical of this trilobite are the sweeping genal spines, and the delicate pygidial spines.
It also has the multi-faceted silica eye lenses
