Roman Republic - L. Farsuleius Mensor silver denarius (3.92g, 17mm). Rome, 75 BC. Roma in biga.

Obv.: Diademed and draped bust of Libertas right; MENSOR before, S•C below chin; pileus behind, control mark above.

Rev.: Roma in biga right, holding reins and spear, assisting togate figure to mount into the chariot; scorpion below horses, L•FARSVL[EI] in exergue.

Crawford 392/1a; RSC Farsuleia 1.

Good very fine condition. Lightly toned. Scratch to obverse.
