Omega - Sub Second - Art Deco - "NO RESERVE PRICE" - Case: 8137853 - Men - 1901-1949
Mechanical hand winding - Gold-plated

Very chic Omega dress watch from the early days of men's watches.

This Art Deco wristwatch by the prestigious watch brand Omega can be dated to ± 1930, because of the case and the serial number.
A watch of approx. 90 years old which is still in excellent working order!

The case has a thick gold-plating, is beautifully decorated and is in good condition.
The lug to lug size is 38.5 mm x 25.5 mm excl. crown. Has a highly wearable size because of the case shape.

The dial has patinated over the years but is completely original. The hands are Brequet style and blued, giving the watch an extra chic appearance. The seconds are shown on the subdial.

Inside the 23.7S T2 movement ticks, developed by Omega. It winds smoothly and keeps time accurately. The time adjustment also works properly.
Technically as well as optically a beautiful piece of technology!

The watch comes on a perfectly matching and as good as new vintage Hirsch strap, suitable for a wrist of up to 19 cm.

Omega is a prestigious Swiss watch brand that can be compared with brands like Rolex, Longines, Zenith and Universal Genève. An early wristwatch like this will only increase in value!
