The vajra (pronounced as 'vazj-raa'), a diamond sceptre with five spokes on both sides, is an important symbol within Hinduism and Buddhism. The vajra is the symbol of light as well as of the indestructible power of compassion, which, just like the diamond, is imperturbable, indivisible and transparent. Moreover, in Buddhism the vajra is the symbol of the path to follow, with deeds in function of welfare for all that lives.

This is a gorgeous and VERY large piece. This fine object is in good condition with its minor signs of wear and age!
